Visit Tetepare Island

Book a stay at the Tetepare Ecolodge

Imagine a remote tropical island in the Pacific, swathed in virgin rainforest and surrounded by sparkling turquoise lagoons and warm tropical reefs. A place where ancient, endangered leatherback turtles haul up onto the beaches to lay their eggs, where rare dugongs and turtles feed in the warm seagrass meadows, where the forest is filled with bird song and the distant thunder of waves on the fringing reef.

Tetepare is this place.

The Tetepare Island Ecolodge attracts visitors from around the world who come to enjoy the pristine beauty and excellent wildlife watching opportunities. The ecolodge is a small, intimate retreat, with just six guest rooms. To ensure guests experience the true tranquillity of the largest uninhabited island in the South Pacific, visitor numbers are limited to a maximum of 14 guests at any one time. Day visitors and yachts are also welcome to visit Tetepare but must contact us in advance and pay a Conservation Fee.
